the Bible
Ps. 119:105; Isa. 8:20; John 17:17; 1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Tim. 3:16, 17; Heb. 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20, 21
We believe the Holy Scriptures, Old and New Testaments, are the written Word of God, given by divine inspiration. The inspired authors spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

We seek to be guided by the principles and precepts found in Scripture rather than by human tradition, cultural norms, or personal opinions. These words are the foundation for our doctrine, practices, and decision-making processes.

the cross
John 3:16; Rom. 3:25; 4:25; 8:3, 4; 1 Cor. 15:3-4
A powerful symbol of God's love and redemption. The cross represents the ultimate sacrifice made by Jesus, providing the only means of atonement for human sin. By dying on the cross, Jesus took upon himself the punishment for our sin. His death and resurrection freed us from the curse of sin and death. By accepting this atonement, we can experience forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life.
the Trinity
Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14; Eph. 4:4-6; 1 Peter 1:2; 1 Tim. 1:17; Rev. 14:7.
There is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, a unity of three co-eternal Persons. God is immortal, all-powerful, all-knowing, above all, and ever present. He is infinite and beyond human comprehension, yet known through His self-revelation. He is forever worthy of worship, adoration, and service by the whole creation.

grace
Rom. 3:21-26; 5:6-10; Eph. 2:4-10; Titus 3:3-7
The unmerited favor of God. A gift that's freely given to us without any conditions or expectations. Grace is the idea that we're loved and accepted just as we are, without having to earn it or prove ourselves worthy. Grace is a gift that's given to us simply because we exist.

We believe that everyone deserves a place of refuge and acceptance, no matter what their story may be. Grace, compassion, and love are the foundations of THE VINE. We're not here to judge or criticize, but to offer a safe space for people to come as they are and experience the transformative power of God's love.
love
Matt. 22:37-40; John 13:34; Rom. 13:8; 1 Cor. 13:13; Gal. 5:14
The greatest commandment.

God's love for us is unconditional. It's not a love that is earned or deserved, but rather a demonstration of God's character and the foundation of our relationship with God. His love for us is unrelenting and not swayed by our mistakes or failures. It is a love is so strong that He was willing to forgive our sins, even before they occurred.

Because God has shown this love to us, we should adopt a similar mindset in our daily lives towards others. We believe treating people with love is about showing kindness, compassion, and understanding. It's about recognizing that every person has inherent value and worth, and that we all deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. When we treat people with love, we are fulfilling the command of God.
